What is a Antique Silver Finish?
It is a special finish that is similar to sterling silver finishes but not as shiny. It is a smooth light bright grey  finish that is very close to the same color as stainless steel.

We designed this cross shield necklace to have a three dimensional look by combining layers and open air around the cross. The outer hammer finish was intended to give this cross shield necklace a more rugged appearance that shows superior craftsman ship. From my first sketch of a crude cross shield on my sketch pad to a finished pendant that is cast from solid pewter alloy. The cross shield pendant is then put through a number of stages before it is ready for resale. First after is cooled and cleaned and inspected for quality it is then refined by adding an antique pewter finish
