What is a Gunmetal?

It is a special finish that is darker than silver finishes but not full black. It is a smooth dark gray finish that is very close to the same color as the barrel of a fire arm.

We designed this Nail pendant necklace with only nails placed on top of one another to form a beautiful nail cross pendant. Once we had the nails we liked we welded the nails together and then we cast it in lead free pewter alloy. The Nails were made and finished with an antique GUN METAL finish to make the nail spikes look rustic.
